CreateQR runs on a simple wallet. Top up once — $1 = 100 credits — and credits get debited automatically whenever you save a billable QR or use an AI feature. Static QR codes stay completely free. Every new account starts with 1,000 bonus credits, no card needed.
Dynamic QR = 100 credits/month ($1). AI Google Review assist = 1 credit per draft. Video, image and gallery QRs are free — we just count the storage they use against your 1 GB free quota. Static QR codes (URL, Wi-Fi, vCard, etc.) are free — no credit cost ever.
There is no subscription — nothing auto-renews and there is no plan to cancel. Each live dynamic QR debits its cost from your wallet every 30 days while it stays live, exactly like prepaid hosting. Video and image QRs don’t have a recurring charge — they just take up space in your 1 GB free quota. Delete any item to stop the charge / free space.
We notify you well in advance. If a 30-day debit ever fails because your balance is too low, that specific QR pauses (the redirect / asset page shows a “owner needs to recharge” notice) — it is not deleted. Top up and it resumes immediately, no relink needed.
Credits never expire. Recharges within the first 7 days are fully refundable, no questions asked. After that, unused credits stay in your wallet forever and you can keep spending them whenever you like.

Yes — that is the whole point of dynamic QRs. The printed dots encode a permanent short URL like createqr.in/d/abc12. You can change what that short URL points to as many times as you like from your dashboard, and every printed copy updates with no reprint.
We never store raw IP addresses. Per scan we log approximate city / country, device class, browser language, and an anonymous daily-rotated hash so we can deduplicate unique viewers without ever identifying anyone. GDPR aligned, never shared with advertisers.
