What to put
- Any text up to ~2,000 characters (less is better for scannability)
Best practices
- Shorter text = smaller, easier-to-scan QR
- Avoid putting URLs as plain text — use a URL QR instead so phones auto-open
- For longer text, link to a hosted page
- Test that the text displays cleanly on iOS + Android
